osx - wireshark - install stable and development builds in OS X -


how can install both (at time of writing) 1.12.5 , 1.99.6 in os x 10.8.5?

afaik wireshark installs kmditemcfbundleidentifier path.

for lack of answers tried following. installed stable release 1.12.5 first , moved application bundle trash, installed dev version 1.99.6 , renamed app bundle 'wireshark [dev build]', next moved older version trash applications folder. far both working. chmodbpf , wireshark cli utility launcher didn't changed. didn't notice problems in install scripts, might wrong.
