Google Places API : Add Place Privacy -


with places api, provides ability add new places. how sure google not use these custom added places own marketing , research purposes. if want keep these new places private applications. add place section not talk this.

does have information around google privacy policy around adding new places?

as per documentation:

by adding place, can supplement data in google maps database data application. allows to:

instantly update data in google's database users.

submit new places moderation queue addition google places database.

this means places added via places api reviewed and, if approved, added global places database accessible users. not kept private application.

the place add has been deprecated on june 30, 2017 , stop working on june 30, 2018. cannot use method anymore. further details please refer corresponding geo blog post.
